In 2018, Valdelavilla found itself in the spotlight. A new television series, created by the production company Contubernio, began filming in its cobbled streets and newly renovated houses. These homes were so well restored that, for the setting of the series, they had to be aged and decorated to transport the characters on a journey to the past.
The residential complex consists of 13 fully renovated houses, 2 auxiliary buildings (a school and a caretaker’s house), and a representative building that houses hospitality services, including a reception area, bar, industrial kitchen, restrooms, a shop, and dining rooms with a capacity for 91 guests. All houses and buildings have central heating.
